Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Masjid Wala account and its data at any time. You don't need the app: sign in here with a code sent to your email, then send the request.

How it works

1. Sign in with your email address. We email you a one-time code, so we know the request is really yours.
2. Press Request deletion. Your request goes to our team and you get an email that we received it.
3. We delete your account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What we delete

• Your name, email address, login codes and login token. This signs you out of the website, the Android app and every TV screen you signed in on.
• Your membership and role in every masjid, and your sign-up requests.

What we keep, and for how long

• A masjid's own data (its prayer and iqamah times, slides, announcements and TV screens) stays, because it belongs to the masjid and its other admins. If you are its only admin and want the masjid removed too, say so in the note below.
• We have no payment or accounting records, so nothing is kept for legal reasons. Server logs and backups that may still contain your email address are removed when they expire, within 30 days.
